Thursday 24th June, 2021

 Today is the first day of my holidays, in which we are about to embark on an adventure out to Camerons Corner, tomorrow, with our two dogs, Jack and Floss. 

This trip has been in the planning for over 10 mths, and my ute has been transformed into a vehicle that looks like it is going on an adventure. Bob has been gradually doing alterations to it, that will be servicable for our journey. My ute now has a roof rack on it, in which various items will be carried, such as a spare tyre, Max trax, Shovel, Steel box with tools and the like inside it. 

The tub area now has a set of four draws which will be used for storage, and with a separate space for the dogs to ride in, and sleep in aswell. Also, there has been added inside the drawers frame, a air compressor, a power inverter, and switches for the led lights that Bob has put on the oustide of the ute. 

The ute now also has a canvas canopy around part of it, so this serves as protection from the elements and also some shade for the dogs when they are inside. 

The purchase of a camper trailer, has also been a part of this adventure aswell. Bob has done some renovations to it also, like installing power points and usb ports so that when we pull up at a powered camp site we will be able to use, the park power to run a couple of things. 

Things getting packed into the trailer and clothing being packed and sorting out what warm gear to take.  Last minute things, a trip into town to get a few more things. Cryovac the corned meat that I cooked last night. I have cooked up a few meals and cryovaced them up and have them frozen.
